ENGINEERING // ARCHITECTURE

How It Connects

An embedded IoT safety system powered by an Arduino microcontroller and MQ-series analog gas sensors. Continuously samples PPM thresholds for carbon monoxide and combustible smoke, triggering buzzer sirens, status LEDs, and relay shutoffs when dangerous concentrations are breached.

How It Works

01
Arduino Firmware

Continuous ADC Sampling

Samples analog voltage from MQ-2 sensor every 200 milliseconds.

→ Calibrated PPM Reading
02
Alarm Module

Threshold Breach Alert

Triggers high-decibel piezo buzzer and flashing red LED indicator.

→ Audio-Visual Emergency Alarm
